The Quest for Paradaise

Forests of the Vampire: Slavic Myth by Charles Phillips, and Michael Kerrigan. Myth and Mankind. Amsterdam: Duncan Baird Publishers for Time-Life Books, 1999.

Part of the well-written and beautifully illustrated Myth and Mankind Series, which can be difficult to find in the United States. If you see one that interests you, grab it. I recently found a bunch at Powells Used Books.

The Mythic Path: Discovering the Guiding Stories of Your Past-Creating a Vision of Your Future by David Feinstein, and Stanley Krippner. New York: G.P. Putnam's Sons, 1997.

A twelve-week course (I always take longer) on how to discover the mythic story you have been living and transform it into a new mythology to live by.

The Quest for Paradaise

Cassell Dictionary of Classical Mythology by Jennifer R. March. London: Cassell, 1998.

My favorite encyclopedic work on Greek and Roman Mythology, which includes references to the original texts.
